Probably should be in the tech support thread, but it says for AH, anyways...
I notice that just about every time I start up my laptop i get this error message, or something similar to this.
Blue screen of death with this in it,
"A fatal exception has occured concerning the program Wpc11cfg. If the problem persists please contact vendor."
When this happens it doesnt affect anything except that I cant shut down again and must restart by holding down the power button.
I found out that by running a scandisk and restarting it is solved until the next time I boot up. Anybody know whats going on?

I've found that putting error message strings into Google usually results in a solution within 3-5 clicks.

blue screen of death smells like windows 98 :)
I had nothing but trouble with windows 98.. Some people swear by it though.
XP works great for me, IMO best OS MS has out. But that's just me.
