Having problems with the Yak.
Downloaded all the sounds and placed em in the right place, but it dumps me to desktop when I go to fly.
I tested all the sounds seperately with windows media player and all work. I tried in the game adding one sound at a time and got these results:
1. engstart.wav dumps me
2. eng.wav and engstop.wav work great
any ideas?

Had the same thing happen to me w/P47 sounds.
Finally figured it out.Had not got the complete file.
Not sure why that would dump me to desktop,but did (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

CC i also had the same problem, compare the file size on the website to the copy on your HDD, i'd bet yours is smaller <snicker>

I concur. I assume you may not have the complete file. I've had trouble finding a reliable server. Tripod won't allow wav downloads larger than 500k for some people, and NBCi will stall sometimes on the download. Just have to make sure you get the complete file.
