Okay I've seen this with some of the other skinnable games where you have a panel lines skin that is seperate from the overall paint color. Is this possible in AH? Also has anyone made good templates up for doing new skins.
I use to make alot of sprint car skins for a game I played and it had the same rivet/skin line file seperate. Just curious if they have this in AH or not.

I think I know what you're saying. Yes, AH does have panel lines. If you open a skin you can see almost immediately where they are.

Well I've openend a skin in AHII and I see panel lines but they are already blended with the airframe colors. What I'm looking for is a transparent panel lines template. No color but the panel lines themselves. I'll have to find an example to show ya.

Ahh.... A panel line layer perhaps?
From what I know I dont think there is just panel lines. Though they could be made easily. Just take the skin you want to do, and color in the panels in between the lines and then color the lines what you want. Then do a save as etc...
Thats how I'd do it in AH, but I dont know about AHII. Think thats what you want.

Not in AH1. I'm about to get AH2 beta11 that has the skinning feature enabled and that might have it, but I doubt it ;).

Just posted in Ah2 forums about this...getting folks who are skinning to make basic" templates" in photoshop or other program where you can blend layers.
I'm working on a 190 dora and will post my photoshop files for the panel lines / rivets / screws, ect....
Hopefully other skinners will do the same.
