I'm here to defend Mr. Black. I ALONE[/i] am in the position to do this since I was his closest confidant and spotter from sniper school until his time as a sniper in South America. Here's a picture to prove it. Look at the circled area.

Yeah, if you look real, real hard you still won't see us. That's how good we were. Completely one with the land. Scary stuff...BOOOO Scared you didn't I? In fact, this picture was taken by whom we were sent to . Turns out he didn't see us either. We took the camera and film from him when we finally found his dead .
We blended so well that even the animals accepted us. In particular, a young monkey with large pleading eyes began to follow us. Probably thought we were his parents. Well, Mr. Black took to the little critter like a duck to water. Mr. Black would pet the young mokey, gently running his hand through his fur over and over. More times than not Mr. Black let him ride around on his head and would pick and eat the fleas from the furry little bugger during our rest stops. Hell, he even let the monkey sleep with him.
Eventually, he became a bit possessive of the little monkey. It seemed everytime I even looked at the little furball Mr. Black would narrow his eyes into barely perceptable slits and whisper in a barely audible tone, "Don't touch my monkey." Late at night I often heard him whispering to the little monkey in his bedroll, "Monkey love, that's the best love." in a panted voice over and over. Finally, it seemed that Mr. Black would inhale real deep and shudder. Followed by a long exhale, then fall asleep. Man, he must have really loved for that monkey. I just didn't realize how much at the time.
As we approached our target at , things quickly went south. In fact, things happend so fast that it's still blurred even now when I think of it. It seemed the first thing I heard was an explosion followed by Mr. Black's roaring voice rending the stunned silence, "Monkey killers, monkey killers...YOU KILLED MY MONKEY....MY MONKEY."
That's when all hell broke loose. Mr. Black started firing. I've never seen someone shoot the M82A1A so fast with such precision. It seemd that a ruthless, unswerving killer instict that had been boiling just under the surface finally erupted. As I watched from further up the hill though my spotter binoculars, Mr. Black single handedly shot and an entire platoon of . The last guy he was running down a mountain path. I thought that Mr. Black didn't have a chance of hitting him since I ranged the guy over 2,000 yards, but I was wrong. I guess monkey love was stronger. All said and done I counted twelve dead , the last one at 2,210.2135987302+1 yards. Damn he must have really loved that monkey.
I have to admit that even I, his trusted spotter, was a bit unnerved as I saw him seemingly appear though the smoke toward me walking back up the mountain with the poor little dead monkey in his arms. He seemed in a daze, not even realizing as he bumped into me. As we exfiled, him carressing what was left of the monkey's head, I began to worry about his sanity. After 2 days and over 600 miles, him still carrying the mokey's corpse with flies buzzing around it and maggets begining to appear from eruptions in his furry hide, I knew that Mr. Black was a damaged man. It wasn't until later that I feared for my safety.
That night I awoke from a fitfull sleep to find Mr. Black's combat knife under my neck. In one hand he held the knife with its edge pressed firmly just below my adam's apple, in the other he carried his dead monkey. I can admit now, only after much therapy, that I was indeed afraid. The dazed look had finally left Mr. Black's eyes leaving a diamond sharp focus that seemed to bury into my soul. I dared not even breathe...
He held the knife there for what seemed several minutes but were probably only seconds. Sweat began to form not only under my neck but also around my genitals. Finally he gentlly began to whispered to me in the dead of night but his voice began to rise until he was shouting at the top of his lungs, "potpie... Potpie...POTPIE...POTPIE, POTPIE, POTPIE." The vein in his forhead was throbbing madly before he collapsed. Losing his monkey was too much for him apparently. I contructed a litter and carried him to the extraction point.
Sadly it all proved too much for Mr. Black. He began to slip in and out of our reality. He claimed to be other people, notable someone called RC51 among others, and even stated things that never happened. It was a sad day to see a once great man, sitting behind a computer a slave to his mad delusions, claiming at times to be performing experiments on people and other times claiming to be funny and playing jokes on people. Sadly enough, he even resorts to claiming to have stated nothing concrete, despite everything to the contrary, in order to deflect any scrutiny of him.
Bowed by time and circumstance, this poor pathetic soul is now know P3WN3D[/b] How sad.

Drunky is nowhere near what you imagine. After over three years of flying with him, experiencing the birth of his children with him, and hearing his trials of life, I take this as a personal insut. I only wish I could meet you at the 'con'.
You really need to end this escapade as an attempted BBS joker and reinvent yourself again.

Yeah, he's got a DD-214, but somehow I suspect the doc is not original. You can print a DD-214 and put whatever you want on it.

Real Snipers don't talk about it, they just don’t. I know this to be a fact. I used to shoot competitively and knew several both active and ex Marine and Army types. When asked why the low key nature as to what they do the answer I heard the most was "most people really don't like snipers as they think of them as sneaky and somehow evil" "Most people grew up with the cowboy code of never shoot someone in the back and don't sneak up on them" I went drinking with these guys and when asked many times I heard "I'm a Scout or in Recon." I never heard "I'm a Sniper"
If MrBlack is a Sniper then sir from your fellow Snipers "you are an "A#$ hole" and when you grow up have a nice day".

Scootter FWIW MrBlack emailed me his DD214 and I'm convinced he's telling the truth. It said-
"sniper, kiled sevural Domenikens in Centrle Amerika, and this should shut up the bishtards at HTCes O club."

A buddy of mine was a sniper in the 70s-80s. I emailed him mrblack's pic and he says he looks familiar. FWIW.
He knew what Bravo4 means.

Our Production Manager is a retired Ranger Capt. He tells me that he was in Central America during the same time frame.

but Blew my knee out and had to leave the Army.

And... MrBlack... why is it the only reference I can find to a sniper MOS for the Army refers to the fact that the Army doesn't have a sniper MOS? You wouldn't be fibbing now, would you?
I do know what you are doing... you're acting like a security cop that could have been a policeman if it weren't for that damn psych eval and that "bum knee".

in my day there where more often called designated marksman.
But the term sniper is easier to phrase.
MOS Of Bravo Is the same though.

I don't believe so MrBlack. Associating "marksman" with "sniper" pretty much suggest you are a security cop.
I got a marksman ribbon in the AirForce. That pretty much made me a sniper too.

I injured it on a run during RIP ranger inductrination program.
that is a program where they weed out the weak.
And I got weeded out LOL.
They found that I had a pre exisiting injury prior to joining the Army.
So I was booted out :mad:
I went in as an E-2 (got a friend to join with me)
Made It to E-5 discharged E-1
In hindsite I should have never tried out for Rangers But Hey I was young dumb and full of cum:D

Did you ever think I did not go through ICS.
You might want to pull My TDY forms they MIGHT have a record of my time therebut I doubt it.
Like I said I cant and wont give details as to where and whom I was working with and against.
And further more I doubt you or you'r buddy pack the gear to pull
anything deeper than my DD-214 anyway.

If he were to give up the details of these missions he could get in BIG trouble. You idiots need to lay off.

Yeah, I used to be a ninja as well but gave it up for s impler life. I was trained by a master of course. I have forgotten most of my training though.

In 11B40, the 40 is referring to the skill level, as in rank. 10 is E-1 to E-4, 20 is E-5, 30 is E-6, 40 is E-7. The B4 he is referring to would be an SQI=Special Qualification Identifier. I had something similar in my old MOS, my SQI was F the F standing for flight status.
mrblech, you were an E-5, hurt your knee, and got discharged as an E-1? I have never heard of that happening, and I been around a while. If you got discharged as an E-1, it was for something else. Maybe you got busted for impersonating a sniper?
If anyone is actually interested in all that crap, the regulation governing SQIs is DA PAM 611-21. I just happened to know it off-hand, but if you dig you can probably find it.

The reduction of rank was automatic due to the type discharge.

A couple of article 15s did not help I was way Pissed after my injury.
As they said no more infantry no more Bravo 4
Was to retrained for a support (desk job).
I basicly told a bird col to shove it.
As you can imagine this did not go over well.

If you were discharged with an "Under Other than Honorable Conditions", then according to Chapter 3, paragraph 7 or AR 635-200, that type of discharge may be issued for the following circumstances: Misconduct, Fradulent Entry, Homosexual Conduct, Security Reasons, or in Lieu of Trial by Court Martial.
Like I said, if you were reduced and given an Under Other than Honorable, you did something else besides "hurt my knee."

Actually I thought this thread up during my part time job after attending college using my G. I. Bill. I get a little bored sometimes and inpiration just happens.

Urchin, do you want to know why 40 year olds try no to fight, it's because we now have something that a lawsuit will take away. I am 6 foot weigh 240 and work out with free weights 4 days or so at the gym, I also run my own company and own two homes a boat and an airplane. I want to keep my toys and not loose to some collage punk what I have been working so hard for so many years Unlike the movies, fist fights can be very nasty things (I know this from my misguided younger days). I will say that your attitude about 40 year olds may not be that wise as many can do quite well in a scrap. I enjoy meeting new folks and do so often, I will enjoy the Con. this year and look forward to meeting many new friends, however I would be very disappointed to have a stranger walk up to me looking for a fight (as a large guy this does not happen to me often). If posting my picture will help you in finding me at the bar I will do so, but you must let me buy the first round. See ya at the CON.

If you think Iam Mr.black maskerading around as some one else I think you're mistaken. it would be more likely that Iam maskerading around as him. Ask around, ask people from the Air warrior community that know me. Specially those that went to awcon 98. Either Iam posing as Mr.Black posting pics of someone else or your just plain wrong cuase those are not pictures of me and theres a few people around that can testify to that.
If you have a hard time beliveing me becuase of the bad stuff. Most people that wash out of ranger school do so becuase of injury like heat injury, cold injury, stress fractures, broken bones, KNEE INJURIES, alot due to hitting the ground wrong becuase there just 5 jump chumps like me. I think the stats are something like only 1 in 4 make it cuase the other 3 got hurt. (ranger school got investigated a few times due to high fatality rates in the 80's and 90's specially fatalities cused to hypothermia and heat stroke)
You have a heard time hearing the bad stuff or becuase I broke some ones jaw. I got into alot of fights. got in trouble for a few. Got my arse kicked probably more times then I won, I have a upper partial to prove it. I could have told you all the good stuff and left out the bad. Hell I was perty awnry bag in the day. I got in all sorts of trouble mostly due to my problems with booze and a bad temper .. and I spent alot of my money on chicks in strip joints .. I even paid for "Female Companionship" Ive been in bordello Ive even had one of those Basket thingies in the PI
(went to visit a friend in at subic bay).

Umm No Its a Chapter 14 If Iam not mistaken 10 Is discharge in lieu of courtmarshall AWOL falls under Chapter 14 misconduct and normally you have to be gone long enough to qualify for disertion before they chapter 14 you, and you have to want out. otherwise AWOL just gets you time in the stockade or a field grade AR-15 depending on how much they like you or not.

My Awol basically happened like this: I went out drinking and chasing chicks got really blasted and woke up at 2pm in the afternoon. My buddy decided to let me sleep it off (stupid thing is he knew we had formation at 0700 for PT). So super hung over I called a WO I knew at the batalion Aid station. So I showed up at the hospital at 7pm they admitied me but they used civilian time so all my papers said I was there at 7 no am or pm. I showed up the next day gave my Platoon sargent my paperwork and went on first call this was the same jerk I nailed in the jaw so he wanted my butt and wanted to investigate. My buddy the Warrent Officer called up my first sargent who also liked me (he was an alcoholic) and asked him to get my platoon sargent off my but. end of problem. Unfortunatley Since my Platoon sargent thoguht I ran off to never never land he let people pillage threw my gear I lost a kevlar and about 200 bucks work military property, and no one ever did anything about it. Guess I still got what I had coming any way. in any event my platoon sargent eventualy did get my on an ar15 and I lost rank so I do regret breaking his jaw (no I don't the dirty SOB got what he desirved)

BTW rip is not ranger school basically its like an induction to the 75th rangers. ranger school gets you a ranger tab. RIP and Ranger school get you a Ranger tab a black Beret (now its brown cuase the army gave black to everyone) and into one of the 75th ranger battallions.
Being a infantry sniper is no big deal its just a job in most units like being a 60 gunner only at some point you get sent to class to be a sniper. it does not by itself make you elite Its not like being an actually ranger in a ranger bat or in one of SF groups or Delta or a navy seal or anything.
Again sorry for making a bad situation worse ...

theres also qualification like mine 11B2P infantry e-4 paratrouper rangers get a V this isn't always the case such as 11he9 11H is tow gunner the E9 refurs to mech infantry and the Improved tow Vehicle. and 11BC2 (dragon weapon system)

So I was just pointing out the VERY similar stories (I guess you've seen that now). This MOS thing was something I also pointed out to MrBlack. But he dismissed it.
The stories are the same, but the aproach is very different. MrBlack is the one chosing to be umbiguous (most likely because he doesn't know the details) in order to hide something. You've been a little more honest in order to explain things (at least it appears that way... nothing you've said wreaks of "I'm lieing to make myself look better").

Sniper training like most training and schools changes from time to time it's my understanding sniper school is harder now then it was when I was in.
Enlisted codes consisted of five digits. The first three (e.g., 11B) indicated the position while the fourth and fifth indicated the relative level:

xxx20 - specialist (Specialist 4th Class, E-4) = 11B20 (Note: some SP5s were 20s, e.g., 63B20, 91B20, 94B20)
xxx30 - team leader, specialist (E-5) = 11B30 (A number of SP5 positions had "30" MOS codes, including 64C30).
xxx40 - noncommissioned officer (Sergeant E-5, Staff Sergeant E-6, Sergeant First Class E-7) = 11B40
xxx50 - senior noncommissioned officer (E-8, E-9) = 11B50 (or, as we shall see, 11B5M, first sergeant)
theres also qualification like mine 11B2P infantry e-4 paratrouper rangers get a V this isn't always the case such as 11he9 11H is tow gunner the E9 refurs to mech infantry and the Improved tow Vehicle. and 11BC2 (dragon weapon system)

I think its sad too that some feel in nessisary to make light of my wifes weight problem.
that is really sad.
You know she is trying to fix that problem but most of you im afraid will never fix your problems.

For some Reason I never got a b4 ASI I only got the p SQI but Iam not sure if this site is dated errored or really uptodate to current standards. The site states "11M and 118" Iam assuming the 118 was typo. Iam not sure how the rules work between ASI and SQI. Iam not really going to look it up either. I found errors in the C2 (dragon gunner) even when I was in the dragon was never designated as xm47 witch puts it back at near vietnam (1966) it was called the m47 in 1975. currently the dragon was replaced in 96 by the javalin. The C2 listing also list "c. Restrictions. For use with MOS 62J and 62N only." this is wierd cuase Dragon Gunners were 11bc2 the current javalin gunners are 11b2c or 11m2c. again who ASI and SQI work together Iam not sure. I do not remember any one one in the 80's with a b4 added to there MOS for being a sniper most people got a certificate a guille suite and a sniper tap you never where autherised to wear any way. Again there is the Sqi and asi thingy. theres also the fact alot of stuff in your dd-401 never makes it to your dd-214 rarely do secondary MOSs make it BUt triciary MOSs never do. You also mentioned the Xm21 this was designated the m21 (A suped up M14 for sniper use) back in 1975.
I will give you this Mr. Black You either did serve or you really did your research. I was OSUT at benning I did my Basic and AIT at sand hill at the time Harmoney curch was toast no one was doing basic there any more I went in in 1988 (as far as I can tell it is on hershey RD not Harmoney wich isn't there but hell I couldn't tell you what roads go threw sand hill with out looking them up all I know was we were across from the shopette).
I personally believe you were at least Infantry. if not a sniper or a buck sargent. TO be blunt I don't care. You doubtfully saw combat if you did it would have most likely been in Honduras or El salvador. Again I doubt this and if it was top secret and Covert you wouldn't be talking about it, Otherwise The FBI would be Knocking on your door as soon as MiniD sent a link of your postings to the FBI.
I don't dislike you or like you. I will state what I know and what I believe to be true. I think you got off to the wrong foot with you're man Hunting statements. I have been in combat and Ive never gotten a thrill from it. got an rush but not a thrill so to speak I've never thought it was FUN, Paintball is Fun Training can be fun, the armys version of laser tag "MILES" is a blast, shooting at people and get shot at with real bullets is insane.. First you get scared almost to the point of terror if you have the time to know your actually going into combat. Your afriad of getting hurt, your afraid of getting killed, Your afriad of screwing up, and afraid of shooting the wrong person. You don't have time to rationalise the morality of it. you do have time to be scared, Your heart starts Pumping your vision nearows, things slow down, you get shaky. You're basic performance ends up being something like your worse training day. After the fact your knees goto jelly and you start replaying the events in your mind. "You ask your self Did I do it right? could I have done it better?" There was and is no Back ground music ... Its nothing like the movies or TV and doesn't even feel like it should in the all the ranger novels you read in basic training. the next couple of times you go into it it gets easier and easier but it all still happens jsut to a lesser degree. The combat I have seen is light compaired to what our troups went threw in iraqi freedom, alot lighter then veitnam and a hole hell of alot lighter then in wwII iwo jima and Normandy.
I think your a BS artist you like to Shoot the watermelon so to speak. alot of people do. I think you exagerate things. no biggy I even do this from time to time. I think what alot of people have a problem with is people pump themself up like you have for personal gain and alot of people in this communitty got hurt bad from it leaving them rather Jaded. If we have any WWII pilot or even real combat pilots from any war here they probably keep it to themselfs in fear of the chitstorm there gunna catch if the say anything about it.

I would Like to point out passing sniper school and being a sniper does not make you Elite. Rangers, Special Forces, Delta, Navy Seals, Forced Recon makes you Elite. Being a company or platoon Sniper in a infantrey unit even the 101st or 82nd is nothing to ooohh and ahhhh over. Marine snipers who work as single units are two man groups are elite, Ranger snipers are elite SF snipers Delta snipers and Navy seal snipers are dachit (Wiskey trees), and Swat Snipers RULE. You want to goto a kick arse sniper school goto one of the swat sniper schoole like LAPDs or NYPD or just about any Large police force. now those boys ROCK! a typical Army sniper works in the confines of a platoon company or if he's really good a battalion .I have never heard of a division sniper but hay there could be one. And unless your in a special unit your not going to be doing any special covert missions. Mostly demoralise delay and harrass as well as protection of the company/Batallion comander. Ive seen alot of snipers that never went to sniper school or got stuck with the job and where waiting to goto school.
