All sorts of folks being tossed into jail these post 9/11 days that we never hear about but this time they may have picked the wrong guy. His story:

Indeed, the whole situation is turning into somewhat of a **** storm up here.

Yeah, what the INS is doing to foreigners these days (And not merely muslims) is pretty obscene. That's one of the more extreme cases, but there are plenty of stories of harassment, imprisonment and deportation to go around.
Every foreigner I've spoken to recently has an INS story, and they're not fun to hear.

The Canadian government might be culpable in this as well.
