HI1 all

Just driving my PT-Boat in front of the carrier and watched the take offs. That was a lot fun see many guys stall their planes and splash left and right of my PT-Boat.

carrier take-off's easy,

2-3 notch flaps, apply brakes, full-power & WEP, let brakes go, accelerate straigth, pull gear immediately up when leaving deck, let her drop a tad until ground effect comes in if heavily loaded.

Off you go ... @ 150+ start to retract flaps slowly ...

now landing's harder, I find F4U is fairly easy, this torpedo thingy close to impossible ;-)

lol JV44. The explosions from the augering aircraft made me look around for an attacking bomber or Pt boat many times last night.

Landing TBM was a easy but somehow I always crashed if trying to land a F6F.
Guess I need more practise  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

you can land the TBM simple full flaps and about 5 knots just dont try to use that friggin hook or you will bust yer bellybutton  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif)
