I tell my kid all she needs to do is get good grades in high school and get a degree, any degree, in higher education and she will have 80% of the population beaten and chances for a decent worthwhile and prouctive life will be very good.  People like the mutant in that photo are what makes success for the rest of us that remain relatively easy.  Sad to say.....
