Go to announcements and read Pyro's instructions in "beta11".

Well, you *could* use MS Paint.
I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. Very neat tools... still learning how to use'em.

You should be learning how to fly instead ... :D

You can use MSpaint if you just want to make some quick, fun skins, but if you want to get serious like some of the awesome skins you see people making, you'll have to get an Adobe program, like paintshop or photoshop.

i've used MS paint to start just get basic colors down then open up paintshop and add all the details and stuff. But if you want a pure neon green 109 just use MS paint. LOL i've done one before pretty bright

I acutally found ms paint very helpful and simple when making a photorealistic cockpit-just pasting the photos onto the textures. MS paint is good for basics, but then when you add detail use a photoshop program.

For good image editing I just wake up the gimp (http://www.gimp.org) :aok

Photoshop here and a healthy dose of ImageReady along with a Wacom pen and tablet set.
