Yup - seen that while I was off getting more puter paper today.

Too bad I have one already.. Although - If I had the want to, i'd buy it to put in another computer one of these days.

Just a comment on the 8MB buffer.

It is not just a gimmick.  Got an 120G WD a year ago (standard then was 0-2MB buffers).

The increased performance and smoothness of disk operations had me positively surprised.

I'm with scout.

Put new 80 gig WD 8mb buffer hd's in the systems I built last feb.

They have been awesome.

Highly recomend them.

Got meeself a rain check!  The best part is that if I get it after the rebates expire, they only charge me the $20 instead of going through the pay $50 and get a 30 rebate deal.
