PIII 700@933 and GfMX.
Dx7a and NVidias 6.34.
No problems here.

No problems- FR is lower, but not terribly so, at 1600x1200x32. Had bad stutters once early last night in wild CV battle that terminated in a hard lock, but no other problems after that.
Specs:
Creative GF2 6.49 reference drivers, DX8. Had trouble in B17-2 with 7.17 drivers, no prob in AH. Tbird 1.0 gig on Asus A7V (not OC'd yet), 384 MB, Win98 SE, latest drivers (4-in-1, etc).

Using Nvidia ref driver 6.50 and DirectX 6.1a. I have used all the various ref drivers from 6.24. When I ue Directx7.1a I get constant CTD's. After I loaded Directx6.1a they went away for the most part.
Framerates are not really a problem on my hefty 933mhz + Gefarce2+256 RAM.

PII 333/mmx and a Diamond Viper V770 Ultra (32mb). Using the 4.02 drivers from Diamond and using Dx7A. There's never been an improvement using any others for me so I stick with the ones that came on the CD rom. And I saw no reason to go to DX8 as I'm working fine with DX7A as it is. No problem other than some FPS droppage around fleet battles.
I did have the 5" gun flash freeze active on me last night. Twice. the gun went off, the flash appeard but it did not fade away. The gun operated normal. It's not happened since.
Kbman did a nice write up on the TnT2 cards a few months ago in Hardware. Search it out and check it out.

Celeron 450Mhz
160MB RAM
TNT2 Ultra Dx 7.0a
I don't see a horrible drop in framerate, and I'm still having a good time. There is noticable slowdowns but I can deal.

TNT2 Ultra with original Leadtec drivers

Took a modest hit in FPS around heavy action, but still never less than high 30's.

Direct X 7.0a
No loss in FPS

I'm a voodoo user with no frame rate or lock up issues with 1.05, I just started this thread in an attempt to help the nVidia users which seem to be having the majority of the probs.

I get screen flicker but it's done that for a bit. FR is actually better right now. I've locked up twice, once in the f6 and once in the A6m5b. I also am having problems with my Saitek x36, even offline it will be real sluggish. It can take 3 to 4 secconds before it responds.

Mighty;
I have a Dell with an nVidia DDR 64mb board. I too had the flickers and it went away when I disabled triple-buffering whatever that is.

My FPS hovers between 60 and 82 with VSYNC on.
Video driver:
ASUS AGP-V7700 Deluxe v5.33a
Windoze version:
Win98SE
DirectX version:
DirectX 8.0
AH setup:
1152x864 res. 32bit color @85 Hz
Note: I have to run my AGP in NORMAL mode(x1) instead of Default(x2) in MOBO BIOS or I get video rips in AH, although MSCFS2 runs fine in x2 mode. Anyone know why????
Hope this helps.

My frame rate is no worse with no or low activity, typically 35 to 50 FPS depending on plane.
Last night with a big fight around the enemy cv it dropped to a horrific 2-3 FPS. Typically in heavy activity (through smoke etc.)in 1.04 it would drop to around 20 FPS.
Also getting some long screen freezes in heavy activity as well as a couple of lockups upon crashing. Any help would sure be appreciated.
