Anyone here old enough to remember Jimmy Hendrix jumping out of a plane either trailing smoke or on fire, playing "purple haze"?

I've heard of this, but never seen the video.

Hendrix was actually in the Army, airborne even.  Left due to a bad/fractured leg/angle.  It's one of the combinations.

Hendrix even met Billy Cox in the Army as it was.
