Title: NVidia Driver cleaner??? Any help
Post by: guttboy on January 27, 2004, 11:58:41 AM
Hi everyone,
Got off the phone with Skuzzy and he thinks that since I put my new ATI 9800 XT Radeon card in that my old NVIDIA drivers may be messing with it.

Does anyone know of a free program to get rid of the NVIDIA DRIVERS?

Thanks a million....because film view wont work at all!

Take care all and fly safe!

Driver Cleaner 2.5 worked great when I went from GF4 4400 to ATI 9800XT under XP Pro.  This is the newest version-

Follow all instructions.  I did use CAB cleaner, also.

daverino,

Tried the program out and it removed some things.  Still have the problem in the film viewer though.  Very strange all the video looks garbled/scrambled.  this does not happen in the film area in the game though.

HEHe,
Just tried it on my machine.  Film works great from the login clipbaoard.  Same film on the stand alone viewer is garbled just like yours.  I hadn't tried that viewer in a long time.  Does the stand alone viewer use the same video settings?  I had to edit my video config file to a 1280x720 reslolution to work with widescreen.
