Title: A new Error
Post by: United on January 27, 2004, 04:10:14 PM
When I open AH it all works great.  I click on the H2H button, log in, and select a room.  Well.... after I enter the room a quarter of the top screen stays the same as the login screen.  So, The bottom 3/4 of my screen have the plane and ground and stuff, while the top half of my screen has the login menu screen.

Here's what happens:  Sorry about large picture size.

This is after I close the clipboard.  As you can see it shows the clipboard top closing over and over again.  How can I fix this?

I am going to redownload AH just in case.

Perhaps posting your system specs would be useful...

If you are running windows 2000 make sure you have service pack 4 installed.

Also install DirectX9B...

Im running AH on
P3 700MHz
128MB total system RAM
Direct X 9.0
20.0 GB Hard Drive
64? MB Video Card
Windows 98 standard.

I finally got a AH download to work.  The same problem still occurs, except in the lowest setting.  I usually run AH on 800x600, but the problem occurs there.  As we all know, its extremely hard to fly in 640x???.

I dont have 32 bit capabilities, but would 24 bit work out the same maybe?

BINGO!  Thanks a bunch zmeg.  I checked my video resolution and found out that the most that I can support in AH is 16 bit, but I had my settings on the desktop as 24 bit.  Fixed it right up.  Thanks a LOT zmeg!
