Cant figure it out, and after several re-downloads of Aces High I'm always getting corrupt installation file. Maybe I'll lay off the subscribing for now.:(

Make sure your resolution for the game is the same as or lower that your desktop settings.

Can't. I deleted AH thinking that I could redownload it and reinstall it. Well, turns out that when I try to install it from the new download it wont install correctly because of a "corrupt installation file."

Post by: United on January 27, 2004, 04:51:03 PM: How can I totally delete it. Ive done the control panel/add remove programs thing. Ive deleted it out of everything I can find in windows explorer. Anything else I need to do?

Post by: DEMAN on January 27, 2004, 04:51:50 PM: All I can say is keep trying. Eventually it has to work. Maybe it was not completly deleted or perhaps the download got screwed up.
Persevere United! I checked out your website and can say I hope more squads with the "ethics" outlined on your site become the norm in AH

It is rather amusing, but when I try to fly its got all this animated crap everywhere that ya cant do anything. :(

example... if my desktop is 32 bit and I set game res to 16 bit I get that effect.

What i had done was set my desktop to 24 bit color mode, but in Aces High I had the highest graphics resolution set to 16 bits.

You should set your desktop to 32bit resolution if you are using an Nvidia or ATI card. They are optimized for that resolution.
