Hello. I was wondering if any of you guys have a ATI 9700 all-in-wonder pro card and use powerstrip. I use it to tweak my gamma, contrast and what, not to overclock. Anyway, I set it where I like it and launch AH. As soon as I open AH it takes me back to default settings. But if I go to my desktop the color goes back to the custom setting. Anyone know a cure. If not, is there a tool to tweak the gamma stuff other then powerstrip that you can save multiple settings any easy to get? Thanks
PS. Let me add that powerstrip works fine w/TI-500 geforce card I have.

Where is Skuzzy when you need him, huh? :D

Maybe this should be moved to the Technical Support forum??

Powerstrip cannot effect DirectX settings as they are all done on the fly, as it were. Desktop is not problem to catch and change.

Im sorry, I really dont understand what your saying.

Powerstrip works by altering registry settings in Windows. DirectX games all have thier own settings which Powerstrip cannot effect as DirectX does not use the Windows registry settings for the video display.

But it does its job with a nvidia card. Both cards using 9.0b directx

It can only work IF the card/drivers depend on registry settings being altered. Basically, NVidia overrides what a game tells it to do, in favor of what is set in the Windows registry and ATI doesn't.
Just a difference in the implementation.

Is there a tool that will work for ati cards??

You can set up hot keys to allow changes on the fly to those settings while in AH.
