Title: Skin problem help hitech

Followed the instructions made the second folder saved my new DUDE1.bmp and the p51d.txt. I then select it in the hanger and the game closes back to the desktop. I also created the .htx file.
I did edit the pilot in photoshop and saved it as a .bmp.

I also tried this w/ a spit same result...:(

Any ideas ?

Make to decrease the colors to 256.  Of the several crashes I've experiences, I've found one of the altered files to be in 16 million colors.  An easy way you can tell is the filesize.  I think the correct size should be 1.00 mb exactly.  I had crashes with .bmp's of 3.00 mb in size.
