Any word?
-
1.06 - 03/08/2001
1.07 - 05/24/2001
1.08 - 10-04-2001
(Of course, they incorporated the DX8 changes into 1.08. The DX 8 Beta project ran from 06-14-2001 up to 1.08 with 16 DX8 Beta revisions. Had to be a lot of extra programming work in that.)
1.09 - My bet is 01/16/2002.
Just a wag.

Give or take 2 weeks I'd say toads on the money. Personally betting on closer to the end of january, but in that area.
-
I was under the impression it was going to be out before Big Week, but I was REALY being opptimistic. :D

why do you americans write the date month/day/year??? IMO the brit way (day/month/year) makes more sense, but then again, i've been using that format for years
-
Same reason that we drive on the wrong side of the road. ;)
-
Brit way? What Brit way? The whole world uses day/month/year, except for the yankees :) But then again, they also use inches, miles, nautical miles and whatever... and none of these eh... sizes... fit a logical amount of times into another. Ah heck, what are we talking about anyways.
-
uh, exsqueeze me, but some of us americans DO list the date by day/month/year. :p
i haven't been reading stuff lately...any word on what type of goodies we're supposed to get from uncle hitech with 1.09?

Check the way dates are posted on the messages in the BBS.
I just clipped those.
Complain to the BBS programmer. ;)

Imperial speed measurement:
Furlongs/Fortnight
As for 1.09, 2 weeks

I think NOT doing what you silly tea-swilling crumpet monkeys do is good enough reason...
:D

Hey, be careful about that metric/imperial measurements around here. Especially to NASA and their Mars Probe that dove into Mars.
And remember....WHO came up with the imperial measurements in the first place? Who? US? Nope. Some other group invented them.
As for when 1.09 comes out, who cares? What is terrible about what we have now? My brother keeps kidding me about how I don't play AH much, yet drool over the next release as if it somehow will change the world. Granted, additions to the game so far have been nice, but nothing has made it the only game I play. Hell, I haven't even played 1.08 online yet.
1.09 will be interesting though. I'm curious to see how the new bombers work (more interested in the changes to the targets on the ground).
I just wish HTC would return to the ground vehicles and give them a place to definetly be used.
Hans.
