and i overestimated it for the most part-I can see why AH reigns superior. However, a few things caught my eye that I hope are in ah2.
-damage model. When I shoot down a plane it looks like guncam footage. I hope ah2 has a similar damage model-just the way the bullets struck the plane, the way the smoke, fire, and dust looks, the way the planes hit and skid along the ground, explosions, bombs, destroying buildings....it just felt realistic. My only complaint is the planes blew to pieces to easily (takes only a couple of cannon rounds) I hope ah2 feels similar.
-gv modeling. I really liked the gvs in wbiii...especially gv gunnery. Once again, the gv damage model here is pretty good and I would like to see ah2 have a similar model. The gunnery was really cool-even though I thought the bullet drop wasn't extensive enough, it just felt really realistic and cool when you were in an m3 and started firing a .50 cal at passing opel trucks and watching their tires pop off and start turning out of control....it just felt right.
-bailing is pretty fun. My only two complaints are there needs to be a geforce/speed limit to make things realistic and you can't turn or control the guy once your chute has opened.
-while ah(1 and 2) imo have better overall graphics, the way the terrain flowed was better imo in warbirds. It just felt alot more smooth-gently rolling hills, etc...reminded me of picturesque hills in ireland or something...just rolled nicely.
-Didn't reallly look at this too deeply but I did a practice b17 bombing raid and noticed the weather/clouds. At some times haze from clouds would block your bombsite which I thought felt really realistic.
hopefully these features will be in ah2.

AH2 damage model is not yet present in the beta test versions.

Warbirds is good but with only 3 people online- its no fun.

Warbirds sucks, these are just a few things that caught my eye.
Damage model-i know it hasn't been implemented yet, just saying I would like to see it in the same "feel" as warbirds.
