I don't have the internet (I'm on an internet cafe right now) and I want to buy a fun game to play.

Do I buy
a - Battlefield 1942
b - IL2 FB
c - your idea

Given the fact that I don't have internet on my PC and I have been too busy with work to keep up with the times, I don't want to buy a game that I am going to get bored in 2 weeks.

Your wacky but valuable imput is needed for the life changing decesion :aok

I have IL:FB kept me busy for a few weeks offline...


BF1942, I have, havn't played yet..but I'm sure is another option if you want to be able to have fun without being realistic...

Definatly buy something that has mission editors and addons u could d/l at the cafe and put on floppy or CD..

bf42 only really good for multi, especially with the Desert Combat mod, and FH mod (love those Jagdpanthers/ Stug IV)

"Silent Hunter: Commander's Edition" (this is the American sub version, not "Silent Hunter II" with the U-boat).

Also worth getting is "NASCAR Racing 2003 Season" by Sierra Sports/Papyrus.  Lots of mods being developed, including new tracks, car shapes, and a touring car championship mod.
