Title: Eagler, JG55 Hannes Trauloft in works..
Post by: Kweassa on January 30, 2004, 09:00:13 PM
Here's an update for you, Eagler :)

Basic coloring work  is finished. and the fuselage rivets/panel lines are finished. Still have to work on panel lines and rivets on the wings though... and weathering after that.

Let's hope the Bf109F-4 skin files retain almost the same form as the G-10 skin files, when they come out :)

no,it will not match
just pick up bitmep of 109f4 from AH2 and resize it to 1024X1024. Use it as a base for this skin

I just looked it wont fit. Take the AH1 bitmap and resize to 1024 x 1024. You stand a better chance of it matching the AH2 109F-4 template then the AH2 G-10.

But if you want it to be flyable in the meanwhile it looks great!!! :)

Too bad someone doesn’t set up a webpage where by folks could "register" their current skin project to reduce duplicity and to get the best 15 skins per plane type. Hopefully, this will come but right now I imagine most folks are perfecting their skills.

 ..

Hehe ramz and batz, I'm pretty much hoping for it.

As I know, all the Bf109s, which are all very very old planes in AH1, are gonna be remodelled - I was hoping, in that case, Nate and Supe would do the skins for all of the 109s in basically the same type of format - in IL-2/FB all the 109 textures are basically mapped in the exact same manner but a few tiny differences. I was hoping that would hold true for upcoming AH2 109 variants.

 One can only hope! ;)
