Title: is water depth programable?
Post by: Citabria on January 31, 2004, 12:01:53 AM
is it possible to have elevation map for an arena extend below sea level and have a semi transparent water surface that shows less and less of the undersea surface as depth increases?

ie atolls, reefs shallow water around islands lagoons etc.

would only need a single adjustable color for the undersea surface.

Check in TE forum, I believe they made tiles for that for the midway map.

All water is the same, the bottom is never visable. You can reskin LAKE & LAVA objects to creat some nice atol & reef effects.
