Title: Colorado Springs Houses
Post by: WpnX on January 31, 2004, 08:34:30 PM
I've finally gotten stationed back in my home state of Colorado. I know there are some Colorado Springs AHers out there and I need some advice on good areas to buy a house (new or used). I'm looking at something around the $200,000 range. I've been looking around the NE (E of I25 near Woodmen) and have found some potentials but nothing really grabs me. I also need a good High School district for my kids. I'm going away soon for about 6 months so I need something this month.
Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Joe/Cpig

Check out the west/south side of the Springs--also look around old Colorado City and Manitou Springs. Depending on what you want your commute to be, I would also look at Divide and perhaps Woodland Park.

I've lived in the Springs area for 6 years.  Woodland Park is great and has great schools.  District 20 up north is pretty good as far as schools go.

Thanks for the replies, I'm buying a newer house off Powers. I looked at Woodland Park and liked that a lot but the drive was a little far.
