Finally got my FWa-5 layered template where I wanted it. Of course, I had to do my favorite pilot first ;).

Unfortunately it needs to lose the swasticas if it has any chance of being accepted by HTC.
This is not an American PC issue, it is a German legal issue. Yes, it is stupid, but lets not debate it.

Great bird nonetheless, swastika or not!

Nice but I find the pannel lines a bit too strong.

Great advice Straffo! Thanks, that is easy to fix :). Let me know if you have other suggestions, I'm still playing around with this stuff and could use some help!

well, the panel lines are too dark and too thick as well I think... otherwise looks nice :aok
Personally, I don't mind the swastika because I take it as part of the history and actually not showing it is something like trying to pretend that the history did not actually happen, but that is just me and I'm not the one who sets the rules...

Very nice, I like the panel lines dark like that...maybe its just me :aok
-
They didn't really look like that. Panel lines were filled and painted over. They should only only be apparent when viewing from close up.

From most of the ol war time pics ive seen, the wheatherd 109s and 190s all had panal lines showing, not that dark but definetly visible. I think this happend more late in the war when they werent as interesting in fighters looking pretty, more just getting them built and out on the front.

Panel lines are a bit strong and so are the rivet areas in the panels. That detracts from the actual paint and the art of the aircraft itself. If you have a more of a blur in the aircraft panel lines and maybe a lighter color (gray or gray/brown) I think that would work even better and show off the aircraft better.
-
trick is that you can't make the panel lines in uniform color all over the aircraft... you have to adjust the color of the line slightly depending on the color of the surface below it... ;)

OK, lightened the panel lines and saved as a JPG. Saving as a JPG really brought out the Camo on the sides of the plane! Need to move the gun smoke over a little, but please let me know if yall have any other suggestions :).
