Where is a good place to save music files on your computer so they don't take up too much space, and slow things down?

i'd burn them to cd's then remove all traces of them from your PC before the RIAA slaps down on your ***.

Yeah.. Been thinking about that... Im sharing over 2,000 files, so it wouldn't be hard for them to hunt me down. :cool:

What if you aren't sharing? I move my music files after I acquire them. But I do share docs. and my B.O.B. episodes.

The RIAA has special vans that can see music on hard disks.  They drive through neighborhoods scanning with their special cameras, so it doesn't matter if you're sharing or not.
