Title: Graphics problem
Post by: BenDover on February 03, 2004, 03:15:31 PM
Today i bought a new motherboard (XFX kt600-alx (http://www.xfxforce.co.uk/mb/product_view.php?sku=KT600ALX)), and i've run into a graphical problem.

When i load up aces high the mousepointer is stuck in the upper left corner until I tab out and back in, also the texures are spiking about and some of the polygons flash invisable.

I haven't got any graphical problems with other games (half life, x2, some other stuff) and the desktop appears fine.

System information
Windows 2000 - With SP3 installed, as well as all other updates
AMD Athlon XP 2400 (FSB speed is 266)
512mb DDR 400
XFX 128mb GeForce 4 4200 Ti Turbo, with AGP 8x - latest drivers from nVidia installed

My Via 4in1 drivers are up to date, and as far as i am aware so is my BIOS.

I've read some where that if the BUS speeds of the processor and the memory don't match with AMD + DDR setups that it can cause problems - could this be my problem?

PS. I've already deleted my video7.cfg from the settings folder.
