Title: new pc help what kind??

i now have a emachine 2000 specs are
windows xp home
130gb hd (new)
amd athlon xp 22oo
1.76ghz
768mb of ram
running radeon 7000 video card 64mb
creative audigyls sound card

   is it even worth a new one or should i just upgrade and like what can i upgrade ??/

That machine has plenty of life left in it (it better, because mine's similar :) )

Throw a new video card in it and you'll be set for a while.

id wait till the 64 bit stuff gets cheaper and standardized .. you have at least a year or 2 left with that . perhaps a video card upgrade ... and if you feel the need a 2400+ or 2500+ cpu ( 2.0 ghz)  i wouldnt spend the $$$ for anything bigger then a 2500+
