Hmmm. Windy outside today. Sunny though. I think spring is on the way. I might do some shopping later. Got to get some more shaving foam and my razor is blunt. Should I buy some salad or not? Won't need it until monday for packed lunches at work, so maybe I should try and manage until Sunday. If I wait until Sunday though, I'll have to make sure I get to the supermarket before 4PM because it closes then. And the salad won't be fresh anyway. Can you freeze salad? If I bought some today or tomorrow, I could freeze it until I need it. But it might go soggy when I thaw it out. Nothing worse than that in your sandwich, except maybe horse****. No I'll buy my salad on Sunday. But what will I eat from now until then? There's a frozen pizza somewhere in the freezer - but didn't I eat that after last friday night? Yeah I did, because I burnt my hand on the inside of the oven lifting it out. Which reminds me, why hasn't that burn healed yet. Seems to be taking its time - maybe I have something wrong with my liver or something. Nah. I did catch it quite badly. Stupid oven...
...oh... sorry... you were saying?

Nice, I have been meaning to write a post like this, but never got the opportunity I wanted... Mine was going to be a recepie or something along the lines of it.. :)

Do you have any good Croatian food recipes? I like to impress people by cooking bizarre things. I hate saurkraut and brussel sprouts - anything else is fair game.
-
Croatian food is not bizzare. :)
-
Looks like a touch of spring here to. Last week we had -5 and 50-70 cm of snow but now its +8 and sunny.
Its supposed to get colder this weekend and perhaps some more snow.
-
OK... exotic? That's probably a better word. :)

So what is croatian food?
I mean does it have like a theme, or a particular thing to it ie. Japanese: fish, rice, sushi etc..
English food is easy...soggy chips, and warm beer...and lots of stuff filled with kidneys :)

English food involves curry, actually. ;)

and ketchup

No sun here...just cloudy and rainy. But I have lots of good Cajun food :aok

"Vote" and "al Queda" is an oxymoron.
-
im guessing republican since they did pay for all their training and equipment in the 80s.

What's made out of a wood and can be found on a beach...
... a shack.
-
Good one Frogm4n, right on the button.
BTW kidneys are good.

Things will really heat up if the Al Quesadillas form an alliance with the El Jalapenos!

Your local grocery store closes at 4PM?! Cripes, my fat lazy American bellybutton usually ain't out of bed by then! And you don't like saurkraut? Whatever do you eat your bratwurst with? No matter, there is sun somewhere around here too, though it is being blocked by some well-meaning clouds. They seem content to just mute the sun and don't look to be holding any rain.

Croatian, chow.........mmmmm.
Grun, what is the Meatloaf filled with Sheep cheese called again?
ahh, never mind..........Pleskavica?

Any country that serves Spotted Dick should be invaded and re-educated.

What is spotted Dick?
Sounds like a social disease?

You guys suck!
Quit hijacking this poor guys thread and get back on topic! NOW!
The weather here is quite nice BTW. 70+ with breezes out of the East.
BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT!
Our local Ralph's used to be open all night, but the strike ended that. I used to enjoy shopping while dodging the stockers boxes all over the floor at 4am.
BUT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT EITHER!
Now stay on topic and don't make me stop this car!

It's an English desert....
Just make sure you have at least 12 inches before starting.
Unfortunately that excludes most Europeans and their derivatives.

4PM is the closing time, on a Sunday, unfortunately. I think it recommends this in the Bible, but I couldn't say for sure.
Does anybody ever try and shock the supermarket checkout staff? I started doing this a few years ago. If I needed condoms, I'd purposely go and buy them from the supermarket. I'd buy the biggest pack they had (generally a 12 pack, sometimes ribbed for her pleasure) and then buy a fair amount of beer. And that's all. Once, I stayed a girlfriend's place and forgot to bring a toothbrush so I bought one as well. I then choose the checkout person I thought it would be the easiest to get a reaction out of. These days, I'm running out of ideas. I started buying squirty cream etc and that combination usually gets a smile and occasionally a comment, but not always. People are too open-minded.
-
"squirty cream"
umm..ok.. whipped cream?
Try buying some rope or duct tape, that might get a good reaction.
-
lol
Squirty cream = the cream in a can stuff that err... squirts
-
Add vegetables or toilet plungers to the mix. That'll get a raised eyebrow, I'd bet.
-
You see, I've always limited myself to things I could use. Clearly, I should use more imagination in future. Cool.
