I find discover gives alot of perks.
but It is not accepted by as many places as visa:(

The more perks a credit card gives you for free, the less places it will be accepted at. Look at it this way: someone has to pay for those free perks; if it's not you, it's the merchant. When my parents had a store, they didn't take discover or amex because the fees were through the roof.

Discover is the only card I use - I have a Visa as backup, but I haven't used it since I was in Europe a year and a half ago.  Discover is pretty widely accepted.  

Plus, I'm getting $32 back for last year's purchases.  Not a ton, but better than I'd get from a normal card.

I have an American Airlines platinum visa card that gives me miles with all purchases that I buy.

They also give 5k miles a year plus first class upgrades, plus a companion ticket for $50 dollars, plus lounge access.

The miles are accepted by most of the major airlines (if not all) plus like Quantas and other country airlines.

It has a nice rate too, unless you are late a payment then the rate goes up for a year, then back down again.

Also rates on cash are higher, but for normal credit card use it's pretty good. Good for building up for vacations.
