WHEN.... will ah2 be out properly?
WHEN ...will we get any info to the effect..
just wondering cos it seems like an awful long time ago 3 quarter was passed.
its just the current game is getting so preditable with no new updates for such a long time......long long time

Well we've narrowed it down to a date lying somewhere between now and infinity.
HT/Pyro mentioned several times that AHII will go "live" as soon as v2.0 is released.
At the moment the current version is v1.9911. That bastard decimal leaves room for a 'few' more updates :)

Im withyou sway, I wanna enjoy AH as much as I can before AHIIcomes out, becuase my system is crap as well.

It seems to me that HTC would get a team together that would update the current version, when the new version was so far behind on its projected release.
When i joined Aces High, the updates where the biggest perks in the game.Hell, i dont know.

Oh well, Im taking 15 or 30 out of checking tomorrow, screw whatever else I was going to use it for. :D

Seeing as nobody is ever in AH2 arena when it is fully playable why should they rush.
They can't find out whats wrong with it if only 7 guys seem to be the only regulars in there, hence it will take forever at this rate.
Info is needed and Nobody Flies It.

That's a good point, JustJim.
My guess at the reasons:
- system requirements too high
- planeset too limited
-
but nobody want to play cos of the limited ple set..
-
Not gonna finish building the new windows pc until AH2 has been out for a few weeks and the worst bugs are out.
If i had known that AH2 would take this long i would have signed up for AH afew months ago (prolly august)....as it is now i dont wanna sign up for AH just to find AH2 with far to high sys reqs air the next day :D

hi selector :)
...saw a selector in CS the other day, was that you?

As said in other threads, JJ,
People come into AH2, take a look around and compliment; "wow, nice!" ;) but that's about all.
The plane set is a handful, no new plane, the same terrains with just visual adjustments and a few extra effects.
I don't think it's any wonder why people don't go fly at AH2B. Testing out a beta is tempting only when it's a totally new game. The graphics may suck but AH1 offers the same thing with more planes and more people.
..
Now, if the AH2B was a sort of experimental beta using the new ToD system, or if they featured some new planes not seen in AH1, that might have attracted some more people to try it out seriously.
However as it is, even I don't go online much. Mostly test things out offline play, and confirm how new skins look.. but that's about it.
