I never did it. I never deleted my account before. And I doubt I will be back after seeing what I see (people betting on me quitting or staying, people sayint "see you next week", and all that crap).

Its clear I'm not wanted anymore here. No biggie as I wasnt exactly happy here.

I was looking forward coming back if a HA comes to AH, I was planning to give Fw190D a try when (if) comes to aH.

But after seeing this, that wont happen. I?m done here.

You must remember RAM, it's only a game. If you aren't having fun for some reason, take a break for a while. Then decide whether you want to continue or not. Sure, from time to time something will happen that will keep you from having fun. (Like what happened to you with the Typhoon the other night. I had an F4u do the exact same thing to me last tour. It ended up that his connect was bad and he relogged.) You seem to have very strong opinions. In some things this is good, but in a game you must let some things go. Part of the fun of AH is the fact that it is always in a state of change. What happens in one version (N1ks and C Hogs) will not be true in the next version.

If you ever come back; I'll fly your wing. Good luck with whatever you do. (Just wait till they add the d9 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) )

None of which are reasons to quit over. If someone says something hateful or full of angst to you, ignore it and move on. Who cares what that person thinks of you? He's more than likely across an ocean from you and not worth your time. A lotta things in life suck... most things do. All you can do is ignore it or hope to change it.

This is a game, intended for fun. Interaction with the other users of the game outside of it's interface is not always worth it. As you can see, being bored or pissed off with a keyboard in front of you is not good when there's a UBB the whole world can read.

So, here's what you gotta do..
Get piss bellybutton drunk tonite with your girlfriend and go have a party in your bed, just the two of you if you know what I mean. ;-) Come back tommorrow and lemme know how you feel before reading anything on this UBB. Get your account back and get in the air and don't read or type to anyone inside the game. Just shoot the poor SOBs down. Then tell me how you feel.
You'll feel a whole lot better, I gaurantee you that.
See you in AH's virtual skies, I'll be waiting for you to come back!!! ;-)
EDIT::: If you get piss bellybutton drunk be sure to take excedrine or some form of asprin before you even get your clothes on so you do NOT feel bad!!! ;-)

While I think you are letting your hot Spanish blood, ( and some of the guys that know how to push your buttons) get the better of you, I think you are making the right decision.
This GAME ought to be an opportunity to escape from the day to day pressures of our job and daily life, and have a little fun.
Yes, the game isn't perfect. Yes, there are people whose idea of "fun" may differ from yours(to some it may even be cheating and getting kills at other players expense).
The overwhelming majority of people who play AH are in this for the right reason. If, for whatever reason, this is no longer fun you are wasting both your time and money.
You have my e-mail and please keep in touch.
I was serious about a vacation in Spain this summer and hope to be able to look you up.

The most important thing is to ignore, totally, any personal attacks. Gang banging becomes a habit for some of these guys, and it carries over to the board.

If someone offers a reasoned opinion, different from yours, consider it.

well pyro, to start with, what good does it do to send HTC films of possable cheating. I sent you one over a month ago, maybe longer.
I have heard nothing about it, I did not post anything on the BB's about it. just sent you the film and what I thought. now dont bother asking me to resend the film as I dont keep them that long.

Some where along the line RAM got to be a pain for alot of players. This is mostly do to his in-ability to control his antagonistic emotions. These emotions exploded onto this BBS and in the game. Nobody likes to be berated, RAM's qutting is enough testimony to that. The verbal sword he used to cut others with, cut him back equally.

IMO RAM simply kept digging and digging his own hole. There is an end game for this hole digging if one decides to do it. You just get dirt thrown over you and sooner or later the hole gets filled back up.

Honestly, I feel for the guy. IMO RAM really liked to play AH. I sincincerely hope that some day after he cools off he will return.

It might sound less than sympathetic of me, but his outbursts online and his rambling, antagonistic confrontational posts on this board were a detriment to the game and the community.

All too often after being killed he would yell about lag or cheating, never once seeming to take into account his connecting from Spain might have had more to do with any apparent unusual happenings.

Maybe he can spend a little time in reflection of his own behavior.

Igloo: Totally agree with you. It is stupid to answer and to post more here, you and me included.
But he is reding this for sure, and happy to see how long the thing is going.
He has left for diferents reasons that these the he told: money, time, tired, too much hooked, etc...But the easier way to slam the door is to blame something or somebody else for his decision, throw this thread and go away (for a while or going to another sim) like an hero.

Get more info on planes and fly the one that will make me most successful! Unfortunately after improving, becoming more effective at killing, trying to live through all your fights, the game ceases to be fun,we've put more pressure on ourselves to impress everyone,egos again come into play, the trash talking starts, and feelings are hurt. All this over a sim....sim means simulated, and whenever one earns points....not only is it a sim..it's a game. No longer fun, and no one ruined the fun but we ourselves! LOL At this point, I stepped back, realized that having fun was what I came here for! I WANTED to fly! I didn't check rosters first to see if numbers were to my advantage, or at least equal. I didn't check the status of my country, or the map, I just started flying again to have fun! After reading some of the stuff avobe I'm more glad than ever to have left Aces High.

Its nice to see how some people kept kicking the dead horse even when they knew that the horse was well dead and buried. Nice bunch of people we have here, lol.

Just a last thing: I may have been right or wrong in coming here to state that I saw what I saw, and saying it clear and loud.

But I dont like subterfuges. IF I have to say something I do it. Its my way. Thats me.

[edit]BTW, I didnt let AH because the community. was a factor, but not, by far, the main reason.

I let AH because it was fun no more, and I was flying it because I loved the simulator it was a couple of versions ago. But the AH I loved was long gone. And with it my reasons to stay.

Sooner or later I'd have given up.And after the "price crisis" I knew it quite clear, that my time here was going to be a short one.

The "happenings" on last week were only cathalists to accelerate my leaving.

Just wanted to make it clear.I have enough friends here to enjoy the sim...if the sim is enjoyable, that is another thing (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) (dont read here criticism towards HTC. They are great guys and programmers. But they have a life and want to get money. Easier FMs and playability concessions are their way to attract more guys into AH. A way, wich, BTW I fully understand.

The sad side of it is that they attracted half the Quake community, with theyr quakeish tactics and -yes- their cheats. and that is what killed AH for me, not only the new FM.
