Title: which words are registered on the profanity filter?

this is out of curiosity... a couple of days ago, I tried sending a message "I am getting my a** whipped" or something of the sort, then I got a warning from the profanity filter saying "continued usage of......"

I never thought the word a** was registered in the profanity filter... which leads me to my curiosity... which words are registered on the profanity filter?  Does anyone have a list?  Or will this curiosity kill me? :D

There are a couple that I know of... ****, ****, **** and *** are but a few, then there is the infamous ************ and ********** but I have seen the moderators implode when **** and **** are typed in. So avoid those at all costs.

You can say or write pretty mach anything you like.  YOu can talk about peoples mothers, you can talk about their race, you can be abusive to women, etc.  Just don't write watermelon or a**.  You will be muted:confused:

I personally think there are worse things but we are not allowed to discuss them here. ::wink wink::

HavocTM Do not test the waters you are on very very thin ice at the moment.

dedalos the type of items you describe are not exceptable either. It's just not posible to catch everything.

Agreed, I understand that catching stuff on VOX is almost impossible and having the auto filter understand the context of conversations even harder.  The mods however - if present at the time - should be able catch the conversations.  I honestly have filmed some of it if you want to know who those people are I can go find the films and send them to you.

Hi Dedalos,

I have filmed racist comments before and sent them in and the offender was banned almost immediately.  They were very responsive to that sort of behavior.

how, where do u send films in? i have several really choice ones ranging from racial insults to outright terristic threats! :confused:
Not that im really worried about the threats but the racial insults and and others is getting really old on ch1 i squelch alot but man i got a nephew in a wheelchair i let play and before i do gotta squelch this turn off that he knows cuss words its tthe really LOW insults and threats that i dont want him seeing.

btw spanish dweed (I know it's a pleonasm:) ) is not filtered !

WldCard, I sent mine to skuzzy@hitechcreations.com and he dealt with it right away.  He is always really responsive to issues and problems.

wtf!!  We cant say '****'?  Thats ****in sensorship.  I can see no twanting to get everybody in a gosh**** cursing melee, but ****!  Gimmee a ***in break...oh, wait a minute, thats ****, not ****.  Geez, that is a nasty ****in word, if you think about.  ***, sorry guys :(
