Seriously, I was thinking about setting up a BBS for the volunteers at the Cradle of Aviation Museum where I volunteer.
Can anyone recommend an easy to use, inexpensive BBS hosting place, thingy...?

I made a quick play one one time..I use powweb web hosting and ikonboard
looks like this:
http://www.kathrynshop.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi
http://www.powweb.com
http://www.ikonboard.com/
pretty easy to setup.
As far as a place that hosts bbs's, I don't know any so I can't give you a review..

phpBB2, Zorum, vBulletin
all free

If you don't have a webhosting service, I can recommend one... http://www.surpasshosting.com
Prices are extremely competitive and it has two different web bulletin boards available for installation via the control panel. I've installed phpBBS manually before. The control panel on surpass takes all the pain out of it.
