I watched it and thought that Bush dodged most of the questions with indirect answers. He rationalized pretty much every question, regardless of the topic (war, economy, election) with that "Saddam is a madman" and that the ends justified the means.

Saw a couple of reports - basically "How come we didn't know there were no WMD's in Iraq and since we now know old Saddam wasn't even a slight threat to USA or the West do you think losing 500 of your soldiers and about 10,000 Iraqi's was worth it? Oh and what EXACTLY where you doing during the Vietnam war cause this other Kerry guy over here seems to have been just a tad more than National Guard service and angling for a "Honourable Discharge"......

Course this was gleaned from the left wing American Hating  press - ie  the BBC, The Guardian, The Times and the Washington Post so might not be completely correct.
