****** pos...

yes im logged in as administrator.

goto desktop / settings / screensaver / power... when i first booted up there were like 6-7 different power schemes

modified one for being on all the time without going into hibernation.

set monitor to go off after 1 hour.

turn off hard disks never

system standby never.

saved the scheme as "always on 01"

walked away from the PC while i was transfering some files (gone about 45 min) and the fugn thing is in standby

went to check the power scheme and its set to "laptop"

tried to recreate the theme and i get an error about "indicates two revision levels are incompatable"

now the only options for my computer are "home office/desk" or "laptop" and both put the PC into standby

wtf?!?!?!

man im pissed

waste of money microsoft POS garbage software

98SE still works just fine. Need a copy?

Sorry but I like being in CONTROL, not the computer.

Wonders when MS will again make an OS designed for users not idiots.

The guy at the top would want that and I think Bill is a cybornetic being, not a chance!
With all his 'security' in his OS's, almost makes you think he's an embedded terrorist.
[ I better shaddup, I feel a BSOD coming on. ]
