Here is a shot that I made last night. My wingman I ran into earlier is the tower chief at Bridgeport Sikorsky in southwestern Connecticut where I fly out of. Small world eh?

awesome coloring effects in the background!
-
It all happened by accident. I did a reinstall of photoshop and the lighting was changed from white to yellow - thought that was odd and discovered I could change it! Score!
-
Very very nice :)
so with other words, you accidently made a nice screeny? :D
-
looks nice
Keep it up
-
nice..liked it so much its my new desktop background.

Suggestions on what to improve? Neat stuff with photoshop that Gscholz hasn't told me about? I'm open for anything! Only want to get better

Well there ain't much to improve I guess....
Maybe same loadout for planes? (1 Lightning hasn't got a dt)
-
It will amuse you to know the other 38 went tankdry about 1 minute after this was shot. He forgot to take 100 fuels - and took 50 % for a 30 min flight.
-
If only AEP was as pretty as this.
-

My long lost love! How have you been????

the only thing that bugs me about that aep 38 is the engine nacels are way to narrow.
theres no way an allison engine could fit in there.

Could be.
AH's external view system is kinda screwy, so I couldn't get a precise perspective match ... but any difference in the width of the nacelles seems negligible to me. The air intakes do differ a bit, tho.

dunno the ah version dosnt have toothpick looking engine cowling.
the il2 p38 is 3800 polygons if i remember what gibbage said he used to make it and its a damn beautiful model.
but theres somthing off about the look of it and i cant put my finger on it.
maybe its the front windscreen armor plate is too small for a p38j or L but it seems more like the engine nacels look too much like toothpicks cmpared to the actual p38
-
the thing that ruins the aep il2 p38 for me though is the dark tinted windows on the canopy that turn everything about 50% darker than external view.
i end up sticking with the 109s since i like to play it in full realism mode when playing this sim they dont seem to be afflicted with the brown tinted windows. makes the pacific terrain blue water look pretty brown and smurfy
-
109's are dweeb planes compared to the aep p38
still i fly it;)
-
Interesting how I very rarely get my pilot killed in AEP compared to any other aircraft, esp the P39. They seem to fall apart like paper machet.
-
What the heck is this AEP i keep hearing about. Another game?
