I altered some of my graphics settings and it cleared up some of the “fuzziness” that was showing on the pervious images. The images where then updated. If these images are in your browser’s cache, you will have to Right-Click/View Image/Shift-Reload to see the new image.
I also added the inner gear doors on this version.

p.s. Sorry about the "Punt" but it was too late to edit the original post.

“Nervous Energy V” was not a 325th aircraft. You can review their inventory at: http://www.325thfg.org/inventor.htm
The owner of this aircraft just took bits-n-pieces from the 325th to make a nice paint scheme. From Squadron/Signal Publications, “P-51 Mustang in Action”, page 44, there is a picture of “Double Nuthin’.” The picture is black and white but you can tell there is a thick black band after the nose color. If you look close at the picture, you can tell the “00” is not outlined in yellow and the color band separating the checker tail is not red – my guess was the same blue they used in their crest or shield. Also, as far as I know, “Double Nuthin’” was never credited with any kills. So this leads me to think the paint scheme of “Nervous Energy V” is not based on an actual aircraft.
Individual paint schemes tended to “evolve” over time and it is sometimes difficult to find enough images to fully know what a plane really looked like. My goal with this skin was to match the black and white picture as closely as possible.

I did some research on this... Nervous Energy V was a 325th ride... It was a P-51C-RE15 Sn#44-20153 don't know who the actual pilot was, but Lt Colonel R.L. Basler flew it in 1946 for the Peace Keeping Force after he was stateside...
One of my pilots has done research on the 325th from the Air Force Archives, he actually has 4 hours in a P-40E, and might be flying the Jug this weekend... lucky son of a gun...
But on the skin, Great Job on it :aok ... my guys want to fly it in AH2 :)
