"Me 262A-1/U4 ("Pulkzerstörer") was fitted with an awesome Mauser MK214 Cannon in its nose. Two Me 262s were modified to carry this weapon - wk/nrs 111899 and 1700083 - and tested at Lager-Lechfeld in March/April 1945"

Bah.  The Me262 with the BK50 was tested in combat and judged a failure and so was not proceeded with.

What we need is the Mosquito FB.Mk XVIII with the 57mm Mollins gun.;)

The USAAF grabbed all of the bleeding-edge German aircraft they could get their hands on and shipped them back to the US. The Me-262s were flown by "Watson's Whizzers (http://www.stormbirds.com/squadron/)", a collection of veteran pilots selected to evaluate their performance.
