Really simple idea, but why not move the default base down?

Or pic a different base for the default?


As it is right now, it's at 15k feet.  Most planes lose a lot of horsepower, and not a lot of engagements occur at this height.

So my suggestion is to move the default base down 5k feet or so because people are too lazy to move there.

look at the alt ....

there are 3 alt level bases in the DA.

high

mid

low

move to a different base for a lower fight

i agree, that high alt base is great for testing high alt performance etc. lot less time to start climben from 15k then 0k.

But the thing is that most fighting in the MA is under 10k.


And people are not fighting at the 15k base to learn how to fight at that high, they are fighting there because everyone is too lazy to move to a better one.


So what i'm proposing is to make the base you log into Either the medium or low base.  This will help a lot.

THERE ARE LOW ALT BASES. there are some @ 1K.


double click on any green base and you will move there.

Laser the base starts at that alt but all the friggn fighting is mostly on the deck anyway so whats the problem?

I don't think you guys are getting this.


Most fighting in the MA occurs 10k and under.

Most fighting in the DA occurs 15-10k.  Not because people want to learn high altitude fighting, but because they are too lazy to move to another base where no one else would go.



So what i'm proposing is to move the default base to the 10k alt one.  Because this would help the most.

Just go to TE and make a New DA. Skuzzy said it's one of the oldest maps in the set, and hasn't been updated for ages. If You design one Yourself, and it will be good enough, HTC might take it.
