To be honest  I haven't even looked into it.  Frankly I'm finding all this "approved skins" deal pretty kludgey compared with the flexibility we had with air-warrior. Squirrel used to do all the best SAC terrains for AW3, but I haven't heard from him in years. As the Ah2 aircraft require many more hours than the AW3 ones I'm concentrating on them. After the effort that went into SAC, I wouldn't wish to repeat it unless paid, else I'd be divorced!

Totally different............. please refer to the TE Forum.

Basically terrains are built from in editor where by ground textures, profiles and objects are are placed in one massive ###.res file along with base arena settings and field settings.

Squirrel is currently a member of the CM Terrain Team, and makes a lot of the tiles for the various Special Events terrains..... :)

Hey Fidd,
Its good to see you around the AH community!  Your work on the AH2 spit5 is very nice indeed!   I've been helping a little here and there with the CM terrain team but nothing on the magnitude of the good ole days of SAC.  Its kind of hard to reproduce the enthusiasm of ones first love you know (particulary after watching it all go into the bit-bucket).  At least my wife's a lot happier these days ;)

Best regards and welcome back,
Sqrl
