Title: Requesting skin.res link for download pages

For some reason, like some other people I'm not getting the alternate skins downloaded too. I see the skin.res file in the skins folder, but it's stuck at 1kb and doesn't increase in size.

 I've tried deleting it, and relogging to Beta13 MA, but it still doesn't work.

 Could we have a direct download from the HTC pages??

Dont delete the skins.res file it is only about 1k in size that file, is only is a description of what skins to download.

Also depending on conect speed it could take a while.

I could add a category for approved skins and provide the downloads of the res files for those who don't get with the autoupdater.

Would that be okay?

my connect speed is just fine....  but the auto updater  is simply very very slow for me.

i d/l'd some similar sized files that took like 3 secs each...

don't do that lucull we are testing not distributing.

Also try complty deleiting your skins folder.
and restart AH

Takes a long time to download the skins even with a quite fast connection. Took about 5-10 minutes for one skin for me. BUT, in the future, it would be nice to have a page where you could download the skins from instead, some people have slow connections and might want to do it that way instead.
