I requested a password about 1/2 hour ago to play online. Does this usually take some time?

No, you usually get it instantly. Try registering again if you are impatient like I am, or wait until tomorrow and you may have it then.
You may have typed in a wrong E-Mail address or contact information, so be sure that is correct as well.

I nailed it, I was able to go back in my browser and check it. I tried to recreate the account again and it said it already existed. So I requested the password again and it says it was sent :P *sigh* Sent some email to myself and it seems ok. Guess I'll email someone.

Have it resend you the password.

Yah, had some email problems last Friday. Skuzzy told me that their IP really has their email stuff hosed right now. If you haven't received it by tomorrow morning, I suggest calling Skuzzy. It shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes to clear things up.
BTW, the phone number is on the HTC website.

If you use Hotmail, check your junk mail folder. That's where my password ended up.

When I woke up this morning it finally came, and the 4 or 5 requests I made to resend. Thanks all for the help and I will repay your kindness by greatly improving your K/D ratio!

It should send password right away again. Skuzzy said he fixed problem this weekend.

Yeah I was reading that in the tech forum. I think it still needs some tweaking :) I sent mail from my comcast account to my wowway account and it was instant. So I really don't think it was on my end.
I actually went into game this morning, took off, and augered (intentionally). It was nice to see lots of folks in there this early. But I guess it's always evening somewhere in the world. Mostly to see if I could get the ID LeadPump (we all know how popular a name that is *grin*), I've had it since back in the AW days.
Now I just have to spend all day trying to remember how to set up my stick and throttle. I gonna look around as I'm sure that info is to be found here someplace. I do have an old template from Air Warrior which I'll bet is pretty close for using here. Heh, Air Warrior....*sigh*

It was indeed wowway's problem. It left here and was accepted by wowway's email server in less than 30 seconds. After it leaves here, we really have no control over it.

I'll believe that. Wowway is not quite the service I had with Comcast. Just weird that I got my other emails promptly and that one lagged up. Of course I have no way of knowing how they route their email. Appreciate the personal atttention, having been a big EA customer for years I've completely forgotten customer service exists. Very encouraging :aok
