Title: JFK the next prez - View from the old continent
Post by: Saintaw on February 19, 2004, 11:05:59 AM
How I see things (from Yuropean Media, mind you) is JFK (Kerry) this, JFK that... every news paper here is about to say he's going to be your next Prez.

I already feel sorry for most of you here (You are a majority of loud Republicans here, right?), but i am expecting at least 50% of you to change your mind in less than a year, claiming (with a very solemn look on your face when you type the words on this BBS) "he is my President, I will follow him in Hell!"

So... apart from moving to Canada or Mexico... what are you going to do?

I picture Grunherz with a sombrero... :lol

we will spend the next 4 yrs poking fun at 'the great stone face", the wannabe JFK. BTW it's 8 months to election, too early to declare victory.

Interesting how Europe and Euro posters pay so much attention to the U.S. and its politics, yet we barely see anything about the Euro's in the news, unless you hunt for it.

Its good to be "King of the world!!!!!"

Yes John, I am basicaly reporting what we see over here, every news about the US election are turning around Kerry. Now all you need to find out is that he's gay or humped a horse back in the 70's (I gather this is the most imortant/prominent(sp?) matter for a choice in American politics)

I say we talk about it again in 8 months, I remeber a lot of poeple here dicing Dubya before he was elected... and if you listen to them today, they all sing like Poodles.(if poodles could sing)

It may be just me, but I don't vote for horse-humpers from either party.

What is the track record of European newspapers for picking US presidents?   Kerry is already at his high-water mark, and the election is 9 months off.

BINGO!  DEAD ON!

Basically, the whole world revolves around who we elect president.  Yet we don't give a cadachies about who is the new Belgian Prime Minister.

To win, Kerry must break into the CIA freezer, steal Osama's corpse (or look-alike corpse, whatever they have), and claim that he caught him before the CIA thaws him out for the "October Surprise".
