I creased up in the newsagent's this morning, as I bought the paper. :D On the front page was a story about the outrage of the family of the late country singer, Johnny Cash. It seems that someone wants to use one of his songs to advertise haemorrhoid ointment. The name of the song? "Ring of Fire". LOL! Does the word "ring" have the same secondary meaning in the US as it does here? :lol
The Telegraph newspaper entered into the spirit of the joke by using the headline "Cash family rejects piles of cash", the word "piles" being the English equivalent of the US word "haemorrhoids".
:rofl
