Title: nvidia drivers again...

ok asked before but help still...

using the 41.09 drivers as per skuzzy...

i own a GF Ti4600 yet checking my computer (XP) manage/devices... it says i have a Ti4800,

did i install something wrong?

sometimes the Vcards dont register as what they actually are ...

my ti4600 shows up in a Dxdiag but not in most of the games as a Ti 4600. (in AH its a GF4  or something like that )

Also the 4600 never became a main stream video card .(its a great card but it had a short manufatur run )

The only difference between the 4600 and 4800 is the 4800 can run at AGP8X bus speeds and the 4600 cannot.  You may have a 4800 shipped as a 4600.

start > programs > accessories > system tools > system information program tells lots

or device manager

ty skuzzy .. sounds like thats the case.

on the retail box it said it could be AGP 8X.

ty sir. at least nothing is broken on it lol
