I am running an ATi 9800XP at 1280x1024 with all effects on, and half the ground 'tiles' are black with no trees or clutter.  I confirmed with two other pilots online who have nVidia cards that they do not see what I see so I am assuming it is an ATi card issue.

Also, when I flew the Hurr Mk11D my throttle would change the sound of the engine but not it's power setting.  I had to use the - and + keys on my keypad in order to change engine speed.  Also is the cockpit missing a manifold pressure gauge?

I haven't spent more than 5 minutes on the new beta online, but I didnt see the black tiles.  It also seems my frame rates were slightly better than 13 or 14.  Tower, on runway and inflight were all 55-60 with 105 inflight looking up at blue sky.  3D sliders all max and AAx6 with AF off @ 1280x720, 32.  Still pretty low numbers for my setup.
