Generic bare metal skin of a P40E.  It's not finished.  I need to figure out how to "cover" the Snake nose art and the "ARIZONA" of the original skin.  This is it so far:

 And you're lucky, too. :( I was working on the Finnish paint scheme of the Hurricane MkI, and found out that there were some humongous errors in Hurr1 texture mapping.

 Currently looking a way around those problems, but stuck in the rut so far. Man, I wish ya better luck with getting rid of the noseart in the P-40..

NICE!!!! That is probably, imo, one of the best skins I have seen so far.

Thanks guys!  Nexx, I sure could try to make one in the future.  I've found that my patience is very lacking in the skin creation department, lol.  I'll start a new one when I feel inspired :D

This must be the best skinn I've ever seen!
I just want to wait for the actual aces high II to come out, I don't want to mess with the beta's, you'll need the normal version for upgrading...

Ya know, I'd like to, but it's going to be a day or two til I can clean it up a bit.  The skin file itself is quite sloppy with random pixels floating about.  I do a good job of hiding it when you see it ingame :D

Also, technically its historical accuracy is up in the air.  I actually got the idea from an IL2:FB skin, but the author claims this P40 was from the 398th FS / 396th FG... and I can't find anything on them... I posted in the Aircraft and Vehicles section looking for help.  I'm not sure if they exist.  That also ties in with submitting it to HTC; it needs to be historical.

I'll probably post this version soon and replace it later once I find this plane's background.
