Title: Stick Calibration - EVERY AH session?
Post by: beet1e on February 24, 2004, 04:17:35 AM
I had Microsoft sticks for many years, but now have a Saitek Cyborg 3D. It's OK.

But one thing is that it needs to be calibrated every time I log into AH, or else it's slightly out.

Is it normal to have to calibrate every time? I didn't with the MS sticks. Should I be looking for different drivers perhaps?

Beet, I have the same stick.. haven't calibrated in months.
Time for you to upgrade to the EVO.. I will as soon as my Cyborg wears out.

Beetle

HT gave me some advice a  LONG long  time ago, that every time before he flew he  did 2 things.

Reboot the computer clean, ie NOTHING in background. Once in game he recalibrated jstick.

With the rise in USB sticks I think I lot of them like being  calibrated daily at least.
If not every time you log on to AH.
