We are into deficiet spending so our military really is broke.

hah no. The idea that democrats are for crazy spending is insane. Whatever party is in power the spending will be out of control. (although the democrats recently were a tad better at it under clinton)

Maybe we should turn our military into a revenue-generating entity.  Maybe Aristide would like to sign a contract for the 101st Airborne for, say, a 12-month lease?
