No, its not. Its a pilot that served his country  and history books will be written about, both good and bad. :)

I haven't attended a lecture at the MOF in probably 5 years, the last speaker I saw was something like the 3rd leading Soviet Ace in WW2.  I should attend more of those but time is taken up alot by the little ones...

We came down to the MOF during the Beetles re-enactment with the Concorde background but the simulators were PACKED with people, so we didn't want to bother you guys, y'all looked very busy!

Actually Bush does looks like a fighter pilot in that photo. My elementary school principal flew F100s during that time. He never went to VN either.

If you're interested, we're having an aces symposium at the museum on April 10th(Saturday) at 2pm. The theme is "European Aces". We will have four WWII aces. One was a double escape & evadee, one was a POW and shot down a Me-262 and another also shot down a Me-262. Drop by if you can as it should be a good one. The aces will be signing items after the symposium.
