Is the stall limiter defaulted to 'on' for a new install of AH?
-
I just installed AH a few days ago and it was set to "on" by default
-
Yes.

That's odd, I don't remember ever turning it off, but I know the forst time I went flying in AH (Offline) I truned my P-51 into a frisbee real quick...
Maybe I turned it off when fiddling with my initial settings.
Anyway, I'd recommend turning it off, it makes a big difference in ac handling. Ride the buzzer and live on the edge! heh

Seems to me that it is defaulted to "on", judging by the number of people I see in the TA who have it selected on unknowingly.
Also seems to me that it is a relatively new feature. (last year or so?) I don't remember it even being an option when I came to AH a couple years ago, but I could be wrong.

TA is slightly different in that the whole arena has a stall limiter on, if I'm not mistaken. Other arenas it's at pilots discretion or whoever is in chage of the arena settings.
